ALIGNING 5th Webinar on: “What does half a century of remote sensing technology show for field management in agriculture? Review of the best case studies” by Dr. Kiril Manevski (https://scholar.google.dk/citations?user=1EeGOkcAAAAJ&hl=en), PhD in agroecology, MSc in environmental remote sensing, and environmental engineer at the Department of Agroecology and the Centre for Circular Bioeconomy (CBIO) at Aarhus University, Denmark.

The workshop intends to present a plethora of research and innovation in Europe and beyond involving remote sensing technology at field-, UAV and satellite scale, for improved agricultural management. Remote sensing is the science and the technology of wireless data acquisition and data processing, therefore requires algorithmic and computational capacity, alongside field studies for results verification. Computational knowledge and empirical data are thus the main constraints, and these become easier to bridge amid increasing open-source data repositories and online education and data processing courses and software.

The webinar was on Monday, 30th December 2024 at 15-17 o’clock Bangladesh, 16-19 o’clock Cambodia, 11-13 o’clock Greece, 10-12 o’clock Denmark.
